What we did
Chime provides modern premium whisky drinkers with quality, customizable whisky products and digital services at a competitive price point. Aiming to become the intelligent go-to-whisky brand for Chinese urban drinkers aged between 22- 35 years old, Chime asked PBB to develop a modern brand strategy and logo that would reflect the individual needs of their consumers. For the naming of the brand, PBB was inspired by the Chime top ring of a Whisky Barrel as well as the harmonious sound created by Bell Chimes. PBB designed a logo, packaging design and a visual identity with clear guidelines to ensure consistent branding across media touch points that would help differentiate it from traditional whisky brands.
